The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is hosting the first-ever solo exhibition of the renowned furniture maker John Makepeace. The exhibition showcases Makepeace’s 50 years at the forefront of British design.
A collection of Makepeace’s outstanding furniture will be shown at The Devon Guild of Craftsmen at Bovey Tracey in September 2010 before embarking on a national tour.
‘John Makepeace – Enriching the Language of Furniture’ brings together 25 pieces from public and private collections in the UK and abroad, some not previously seen by the public.
